At Outreach for Jesus, we are truly blessed to have such a wonderful Pastor and Pastor's Wife for
our church. We hope you will take the time to learn more about each of them and their role in Kingdom work.
Bishop Taylor was born the 5th child of seven children, and the 1st son of Lois &
Marvin Taylor Sr. He was born on November 24, 1952 in Hamlet hospital, and he grew up on Old Laurinburg Road in Hamlet.
Bishop Taylor attended local schools and graduated from Hamlet High in 1971. He later obtained a welding &
machinist degree from Richmond Community College. He worked in this field of employment at Southern Bag until going
into full time ministry. Bishop Taylor rededicated his life to the Lord at the age of 19, after meeting and marrying
Sister Wanda Kay McKinnon. Their Marriage was blessed with a son, Marvin Taylor III, who was born while Bishop
was serving his country in the US Army. Bishop Taylor and Sister Wanda organized, and have Pastored, Outreach
for Jesus since 1991. The congregation has grown from 10 to approximately 400 members and is presently serving most
of Richmond County through food, clothing, evangelism, Hamlet Dream Center, and counseling whenever and wherever needed.
